Mobile Training Unit

Keeping in view the limitations of the workers and industries particularly the small scale enterprises and the lack of accommodation facilities for trainees from outside of Lahore, a mobile training unit has been established in order to bring the training services of the CIWCE at the doorsteps of the industrial enterprises. For this purpose the van of the CIWC&E was turned into Mobile Training Unit in 1998. This unit has been equipped with audio-visual equipment and materials. The training staff of CIWCE coordinates and travel to the industrial enterprises and holds brief orientation sessions for workers, supervisors and managers and distributes free literature. This unit has been a huge success with the industry. Every years arounnd 50 one-day orintation workshops are carried out at the indsutries, in which workers and managments participate enthusiastically. Audio-visuals are shown and free literature is distributed. 

 Specialised training

CIWCE provides in depth training on different aspects of occupational safety and health in which eminent resource persons from all over the country and from abroad provide state of the art training. These courses are usually of  one or two days duration and the participants include OSH professionals, inspecting officers, industrial managers, NGOs, trade unions and students from universities. The  topics of these courses re selected based on the demand from our clients and tailor made courses can be offered based on the needs of a specific enterprises or a group of industries.
